CalPortland Rillito Cement Plant

I have never done business or really know much about this business. I’ve grown up passing it my whole life but just last year was the first time I noticed the string light Christmas tree at the very top. I believe whoever’s idea it was deserves a raise because it truly brings me joy passing it every time at night.

Cal Portlands truck slung a huge rock out of its tires and hit me. I got the truck number called their office immediately. They gave me a girl in the claims dept named Reagan. I dealt with her for over a month. Sent PICTs filled out a claim. I then waited another month for the insurance lady named Teresa. After numerous times of calling she finally called me back. She asked what happened we told her everything that happened. She stated well the site said that truck was clean and empty leaving our yard. Then said no we won’t pay for your windshield. She knows that’s not right and they should straight up pay for my windshield. This wasn’t just a little crack. Cal Portland does not handle business the way they should. Thanks for busting my windshield and not taking responsibility 😡after months of waiting.

always has good fast service , they offer anything from bedding sand to asphalt to AB , and concrete , and they deliver at all hours of the night if need be . to tucson and the surrounding areas .....

As a child back in probably year 2000 we went here on an open house day. The place was amazing. They gave us a tour of the whole place. I'd love to come see it again. I grew up only three miles from the plant, but am now in PA. Let me know if you ever do these open houses again. Highly recommend to go see.

Great experience here. Easy to load product. Clean. Staff are reasonably friendly, except for that one guy who chooses to call an african american employee "Boy", c'mon!

Rat (weighmaster) is pretty cool to talk to when getting loaded. Place is pretty quick. Doug, you're still stuck up.

The folks at this plant are all professional and polite. Good people to do work for. No complaints here.

Just another fun day in the sun... Sort of.
